Community Commitment

By creating a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) statement, Family Services of Montgomery County is committed to creating an environment where everyone feels seen, valued, respected, and empowered.

As a change agent of service, we acknowledge that inequities within our system and the larger society in which we live create challenges and obstacles to the equitable space we are committed to building. We understand that creating a climate of healing and inclusion is crucial for everyone to feel safe, valued, and heard. This climate encourages collaboration, nurtures relationships, and develops responses that respect and honor the diverse perspectives of our staff, program participants, volunteers, etc.
