Overdose Awareness Billboard Contest
Family Services, in partnership with the Montgomery County Commissioners and the Montgomery County Office of Drug & Alcohol, is proud to sponsor the 2023 Overdose Awareness Billboard Contest.
Students (ages 14–18) who live in or attend school in Montgomery County were invited to submit original artwork for consideration.
Submissions show a positive message that discourages substance abuse (specifically highlighting drug use, overdose, and/or recovery) and encourages healthier lifestyles in our communities. Artwork includes the SAMHSA 24-hour national mental health and substance use helpline: 1-800-662-HELP (4357).
Voting closed on May 5, 2023, at Noon (ET).
Winners will be announced in May. Prizes include:
- The first-place winner will receive a $200 Amazon gift card and their artwork will be displayed on various billboards across Montgomery County.
- The second-place winner will receive a $100 Amazon gift card and their artwork will be displayed on various transit shelters across Montgomery County.
- The third-place winner will receive a $50 Amazon gift card.
