Project HEARTH (Helping Elderly Adults Remain in Their Homes)
Project HEARTH (Helping Elderly Adults Remain in Their Homes) links
elderly adults who are healthy enough to live in their own homes with special support services that help them to remain independent. These services are available to older adults, ages 60 and up, who live in the greater Norristown, North Penn and Pottstown areas. Project HEARTH's services include:

Professional in-home counseling

Errand and transportation service

Friendly visiting and telephone reassurance

Handyman chore service
Through Project HEARTH, a licensed clinical social worker visits seniors in their own homes to help them cope with anxiety, depression, illness, isolation, loneliness, and loss.
In addition, dedicated HEARTH volunteers provide seniors with concrete support services, such as transportation, grocery shopping assistance and minor home repairs.
