Norristown Area Communities That Care for Youth (CTC)

in

Norristown Area Communities That Care for Youth (CTC) is an initiative thatNorristown CTC logo organizes and mobilizes the community to reduce the risk factors that contribute to youth violence and substance abuse. The target area for Norristown CTC is the communities that comprise the Norristown Area School District: East Norriton Township, West Norriton Township and the Municipality of Norristown.

Norristown CTC was established in July 2001 in response to increasing needs and concerns for the youth in the greater Norristown area. Norristown CTC is governed by a collaborative community board of residents, social service agencies, law enforcement, school district officials, faith-based organizations, and youth, as well as other interested community members.

As the lead agency for Norristown CTC, Family Services has been instrumental in identifying funding sources and providing support to this comprehensive community initiative.

Visit the Norristown CTC website to learn more about this community initiative.
