Wendy’s of Royersford Donates $1,500 to Pottstown Family Center

POTTSTOWN, PA, February 13, 2015 — Wendy’s of Royersford, located in the Limerick Square Shopping Center at 70 Buckwalter Road, recently donated $1,500.00 to the Pottstown Family Center.

“We so greatly appreciate the support of Wendy’s,” said Oglatha Ingram, director of the Pottstown Family Center. “This generous donation will touch the lives of Pottstown area families who need help with immediate, critical needs such as nutrition, transportation, clothing, and housing assistance.”

As one of Pennsylvania’s state-funded Family Centers, the Pottstown Family Center takes a unique approach to meeting the needs of the community. Established in 1993, the Pottstown Family Center offers a number of support programs and services that help families learn, grow and achieve self-sufficiency, such as the Fatherhood Program, Parent-Child Playgroups, Parents As Teachers (PAT) Home Visitation, and the Time-Limited Family Reunification Program. Family Services has served as the lead agency of the Pottstown Family Center for more than 10 years.

Since 1900, Family Services has been caring for children, seniors and families in Montgomery County who face everyday emotional difficulties or physical hardships. The agency’s innovative social service programs make a positive difference in the lives of 13,000 county residents each year.
